New half car cover

Well I've had a few problems of late where I'm getting water ingress to the drivers seat belt well and boot and I'm guessing there may be some blocked drains or rotten seals that need looked at.

I'm also suffering from lots of condensation on both the front and rear windows.

So, two days ago I bought some in car dehumidifiers and ordered myself a half cover for the interim until I can either sort out my issues and / or purchase a better storm force type cover with softer insides for the winter months.

This only set me back the grand total of £40 and it's not too bad at all. A little extra material than I would have liked but seems to do the job required of it and should stand up to a few strong winds with the elasticated soft straps front and rear tucked under the bodywork.

It will probably end up being a summer cover for when it rains (which is most of the summer here in Scotland) once I purchase a more durable one in the near future for outdoor storage.

Has been helping alot with the problems?

But off topic but do you know if it's legal to have a full cover or half cover over your car parked in the public road? If you have your plate numbers written front and back on the cover

I wouldn't bother with reg number pretty sure it's not illegal to cover your car but it will make it a target for people who want to know what's underneath
