Dnk
What kind of pedal travel do you guys have on your cars, from what I can see it looks like the GE and GTE are very similar with a max of around 70 mm Is this the same for both the types of calipers used ie 4 pot 2 pot (uk spec) and 2 pot 1 pot (j spec) Edited January 22, 2017 by Dnk (see edit history)
alxns7
Not sure how much but basically I think I have ~20 mm where nothing happens and then an additional 20-30 mm to pressurize the system. I also think this is NOT how it should feel so I just bought a master cylinder piston kit from Toyota which I will attempt to install next week. So I would say it should be around 50 mm? kevin smith
Hi I'm not very mechanically minded but do do a little bit on my car, my break peddle wobbles from side to side. And when I looked at the peddle there is a little chain hanging next to it, not sure if it should be attached ?.
ripped_fear
I would say my previous supra which was an NA5, and my TT6 have very similar pedal travel, probably somewhere around what your saying although I have never measured it. The old car was brand new j-specs(small pot option) all round and the new TT is UK up front and small j-specs at the rear. Much better feel and stopping ability but similar travel. Dnk
Thanks Jake, not concerned with the actual performance just the approximate length of pedal travel
