mc92
So my passenger side headlight doesn't fit very well at all, and I can't see any way to adjust how it sits. The bonnet seems to line up with the wings just fine so I assume they're sitting right, but the edge of the headlight sticks out in the bottom corner. I've had both lights out various times to try and see if there's any difference between the sides but I can't figure it out. It also seems a bit tighter to get in the hole than the driver's side so something is definitely off somewhere. If anyone can tell me how to get it sitting right I'd appreciate it. I've tried searching various things on the forum so I apologize if this has already been covered somewhere but I can't find anything about it. Here's a pic with the driver side headlight for reference at the bottom. The bit that's off is in the red square: Thanks :-)
jim
Is the nut on the bottom of the two locating screws tightened up properly bud?
j_jza80
As above, there is a retaining nut in the bottom corner, which can be a pain to get to. It is also feasible that the metal tab on the wing that the retaining thread goes through has been bent at some point.
mc92
Yeah I've made sure all the nuts are tightened right up. It wouldn't surprise me if something is bent I'll have to get out and check again.
