Chris Wilson
Has anyone the ability to get the part numbers for the connector plug and connector pins for the cam position sensor on a Ford Mondeo MKIII TDCi diesel (2001 to 2007) please? Chris Wilson
Thanks to Mark Brown I have a link to parts and prices. The connector repair kit is near twice the price of the damned sensor though, I thought Toyota connector repair kits were dear enough! http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_mondeo_camshaft_position_sensor_wiring_diesel_f_1376175.htm
creative
try doing 8 coil pack clips on a modular V8..... genuine units are $45 each... for a plastic connector!!! I nearly fell over when I heard that!
Chris Wilson
I will solder 3 PTFE insulated wires to the pins, pot it in resin, and fit Deutsch connectors to the wires and loom (and get a FAR better connector for FAR less) I chose the TDCI Hall effect sensor as it was cheap and had many ways to mount it. Should have checked the connector price as well..... Crazy.
