gordy.r
The must have lens for portrait photography (unless you can afford the f/1.4 lol). A great little prime lens that produces excellent results. Comes with original box and lens caps. £80 + postage

stevie_b
50mm prime is a good lens, it or similar should be a staple for anyone interested in photography. They're not called Nifty Fifty for nothing. Hijack over, sorry.

gordy.r
Lol, thanks for all the comments. Only reason I'm selling is I'm changing to full frame and moving from Canon to Nikon (shock horror lol) Lens is approximately two years old. Really only used for baby portraits now and again and always been stored in a padded bag so no scratches etc on lens (stored with lens cap and body cap when not in use). Price now £80 delivered
Nodalmighty
I've just bought a Nikon D5500 as my first DSLR under advisement, if comes with a 18-55 and a 55-300 lens. Means absolutely nothing to me. Luckily my brother and a colleague at work are both camera mad and are going to show me how to set it up and what everything does and how to use it. I just got fed up with all my pictures of the nipper taken with my phone being brown/fuzzy and generally crap. I was told to get one of these lenses. If it had been nikon I would have had it. Yeah can't praise these lenses enough, definitely something you should look to invest in for photos of the wee one, these produce some great detail and results.
