linconhawk
Been spending the last week stripping everything down and replacing every screw, bolt etc and came across this yesterday... The plastic cover that attaches to the actual boot seems to have a gap at the ends, it doesn't sit tight to the boot, its the same both sides, the rest of it seems to be fitted tight, apart from the two ends... Is this normal, or has someone missed off some clips.... ? Also, how does this come off ? I gave it a tug, but seemed very tight, didn't want to pull too hard and snap something... Many thanks
evinX
You have to pull it down, to avoid cracking get your fingers in there, find the clips and pull down around them. Could be missing a metal clip that pulls it tight to the bootlid. if you need some, I think I have a used one in the garage, will pull some of and send them out to you
