Chris Wilson
To be honest it seems a bit underwhelming. God knows how many $$$'s a run, hanging out with expensive exotic women would be more fun and probably cheaper, if not safer I am sure if you had your backside in the seat and feeling the G force it would be a tad more exciting though! But I never could get drag racing or sprints. Too much hanging around and too little seat time.
Scott
I've always wondered about the complexity of that level of racing. Is there any actual skill involved? The reason I ask is everything is over so quickly that there's not really a chance to do anything other than hold on
Hemanhead
Ive seen quite a few good saves. Last september at santa pod, a single seater got so sideways you could read the sponsors on the side from the stand ! If it was a case of just hanging on he'd have enjoyed a face plant into the wall for sure.
David P
That's a better view point than from the stands, damn quick, even if it does seem to run out of steam after 300yds or so? Great fun, but lots of foreplay for only 4 seconds of action, Chris's idea is more my style.

At that point the centrifugal clutch plates are worn or welded together, and they are down a few cylinders. But they only need 1000ft to achieve more than 300mph (sub 4 seconds), not the full 1320. You don't merely watch these from the stands, you feel them. 8000bhp makes something like a 2.0 on the richter scale

But a 6.9 on the Richter scale earthquake experience wins hands down in sheer Awesomeness. I have been struck by lightening on three occasions and the second one of those is probably my most Awesome experience so far, coincidentally, that lasted around 4 seconds too, however, I am hoping not to try a fourth time.
