ManwithSupra
Hi all, I am looking to get a small office extention to my workshop. The spec only needs to be 4 meters long by 3 meters wide and 2.5 meters high it has to be insulated wood frame construction concrete base and a flat roof (cold roof). I can do the concrete base and groundworks needed so really looking at someone who can do the roof and frame. What sort of price should I be looking at for this? Rich. David P
If you're up to the ground works, why not look into buying a prefabricated unit?
ManwithSupra
I would but the thing is it has to be in keeping with the exisiting structure.. so there lies an issue
Mk4Gaz
It's a very difficult thing to price, based on your description bud..... I'm assuming it'll be under building notice - but does it require planning permission, or just permitted development? Do you have architects drawings, to show wall/roof construction, with insulation types/e values? Does it require structural engineers calculations? What openings for doors and windows are needed? Will you brick up to dpc yourself, for the timber frame to sit on? What is the floor construction to be? Is it to be rendered or cladded, plastered internally? Second fix carpentry, electrics, plumbing? Windows /doors? These pieces of information, will make it much easier to get a better idea of what you're trying achieve
