Guest onegermain
My question is simple … how do I get rid of the annoyingly long, dated radio antenna without losing radio reception? Is there a replacement antenna that is fixed or boosted?
Al Massey
Yes, PM suprasteveo. He is a hobbyist, and does a group buy on a stubby conversion, and there is a thread with full instructions.
j_jza80
I've got one of the stubbie aerials. It looks great, but the reception isn't as good as oem.

Kendo11
Fill the hole and get a dab unit in the boot.

Nic
This is a Honda S2000 aerial on my MR2, I bought it 2nd hand off ebay and it was basically a straight swap. I used the moulding part that seals it to the rear wing from the existing aerial, I *think* it should fit a Supra if you do the same. It includes a booster which will need wiring in and on the MR2 it needed a 20cm aerial extension lead (sourced mine Halfords), radio reception is perfect.
