SilentAgro
Hi again, I now have an issue with the other supra. The blow off valve is making a very different noise when changing gear at boost. It no longer flutters and just sounds like a lose fart. Has the diaphragm got a whole in it, or is this a common issue with them and easy to fix? Thanks for any feedback (Sorry guys, Its a HKS SSQ, not an SSQV) Edited February 7, 2016 by SilentAgro Correcting product name (see edit history)

SilentAgro
Haha, yeah. This car has been running the set up since 2007 (very old forum car) Do you know if the SSQV4 will be a direct swap?
Scott
It depends on how you have it setup at the moment. The SSQV4 kits will fit the stock Supra just fine, as long as it's not a weird configuration it'll fit just fine
SilentAgro
That's how it's set up right now
Scott
I don't think the weld on adapter size has changed so I think you'll be fine. You'll want to order a new circlip as well though. Make sure you buy the universal HKS valve rather than the kit one (unless you want to sell the kit to someone else).
SilentAgro
I was looking at Whifbitz, but yeah, it's the full kit. is it 100% a fucked BOV do you think?

Scott
Yip, looks like your vac line has jut came off. By your original picture it was worming underneath the turbo etc (not a good idea) and to the back of the manfiold. I would follow the blue lines from the back of there to see where they lead
SilentAgro
Yeah, i managed to track it back. It went under the BOV and the pipe was near the plastic electric cover stuff. It's not ideal at all, but all fixed Thanks for the help Scott
