davep
Hi guys Seem to have a problem with my throttle control I currently run syvecs piggy backed to the auto ecu It seems the auto ecu is playing up does anyone know a good syvecs dealer as it looks like I need to go standalone Tryed ryan but he's out the country according to the email I had back Or anyone got a spare auto ecu I can try to see if it is the problem This is the message I'm getting of the syvecs
Chris Wilson
I am nomSyvecs expert but that LOOKS like it is seeing an incorrect voltage to or from the throttle position sensor. Does the engine itself run OK? Is this a VVTi? If it is a VVTi they suffer unreliability with the sensor on the throttle pedal and the throttle position sensor. The sensors have failsafe fetures and any slight sensor error will cause issues.
Scott
Is this with the engine running? The reason I ask is I'm pretty sure mine is yellow until fired up, as the voltages are incorrect until then. It's a while since I've checked though. The reason, I'm guessing, for the piggyback is to control the autobox. Unless, as Chris has mentioned, you are VVTi?

ellis
An idle issue is less than ideal
Chris Wilson
In an ideal world one would be idle on a Sunday, if only that idle was idyllic...
Wez
Have you tried Romain from Syvecs, he is on the Syvecs support forum
j_jza80
As above, ideally you want to speak to Romain. I deal with him regularly as he's going to be mapping my car.

Wez
Where is he based ?? And will drop him a call on Monday As with most mappers he travels all other and also like Ryan has the ability to do remote mapping and diagnoses, an issue like this could likely be solved remotely, I know he uses a few Dynos across the country including SRR. Wez
On a side note, I see you are running an S6GP as piggyback, this was the solution for AT before the S6 Plus was released, you can upgrade an S6GP to an S6 Plus which means you could lose the stock ECU altogether, might be an option worth looking at it. The upgrade isnt a complete new ECU, the GP carrier board is replaced with the Plus board and new case if memory serves me correctly. Romain, Ryan or any of the Syvecs dealers would confirm and price it up if your interested.
Tricky-Ricky
I was scratching my head wondering just what this had to do with a supra:p:D
