linconhawk
High all, An update from my previous thread... Started new thread.... I have a rear fog light, but couldn't find the switch for it, ready for the mot... Anyway, I have traced the wires from the rear fog to the front and found a switch hidden in the depths of the dashboard.... I flicked it on, but nothing !! Please see pics... At the fog light end there are 2 wires, one going to the actual light and the other one is earth. At the switch end, there are 3 wires on the back of it, one goes to earth, which looks good. one is the wire going back to the actual fog light. the last one is power and looks as if its attached to something from the stereo wires...This was covered in tape, but I took the tape off to reveal the connection and looks good... Someone please help me... Could it be the actual switch is packed up ? Many thanks
Al Massey
That doesn't look like a 12v feed from the stereo harness. Take it off there, and attach it to an actual 12v feed and the light should work
np89
I would just wire one yourself, that looks like some incredibly bad electrical work. I wouldn't be happy with that
