plus1
Needing some new rubber on all four wheels, have always preferred Mitchelin PSS but am also considering Goodyear F1's and Continental Sport Contact. Any input appreciated. Cheers Ian

I thought they were terrible compared to the previous toyo proxies .... Buuuuut I did go from 18" to 19" - I'm going to get the geo looked at also
fastcar
Try Yokohama V105's! Can't fault them
X13mgr
Had pzeros on my Scooby n couldn't fault them. That's why I went with them on the supe. But I seen a couple of threads now saying how they hate them. I drive like n old man any way so they'll have to do for this year.
Gpro
Driven multiple cars with Pzeros and they are by far the worse tyres I have ever seen! Can't go wrong with Michelin Pilot Sports! or if you prefer something cheaper federal 595 rsr aren't too bad either.
Thomas.B
What track tyres do you guys run? Pref. road legal but I will be having a set of rims purely for track. I'm used to Toyo's R tyres but that was a bunch of years ago so want to know whats good today cheers

I hated the P-Zeros, one of the worse tires I have used, car didnt feel stable at all. Mich Pilots are great

I'm used to Toyo's R tyres but that was a bunch of years ago so want to know whats good today cheers Tyres I've used in order of preference: 17" Kumho V70A (Hard Compound)(Fr 235/40, Rr 255/40)- Awesome dry grip, ok in the wet, but dead after four day's use, so cost me €200/day! 17" Toyo R888 (Medium Compound)(Fr 225/45, Rr 255/40)- Good grip but quick to overheat, similar to Kumhos in the wet, got plenty of use albeit on a slower version of what I'm driving now. 18" Federal 595RS-R(Fr 255/35, Rr 285/30) - Too cheap not to try at least once but, although not terrible, they don't really excel at anything to be honest, but especially disappointing under braking. I felt they were killing my lap times. 18" Michelin Pilot Sport Cups (Fr & Rr 285/30)- New tyres for this season's Time Attack, haven't had the chance to test them yet but, from the reviews here & elsewhere, I should be happy with them. Not a bad price either considering what I paid for the 17" Kumho tyres. Edited February 10, 2016 by pedrosixfour (see edit history)
plus1
Am starting to lean towards the new Continental Sport Contact 6, they seem to be getting good reviews all over and not that much difference in price to the Mitchelins. Annabella
Will be chucking a pair of Michelin Pilot sport 3's on mine next month, looked all over autobild tests and at tyrereviews.co.uk etc and they do seem best.....
Samurai 20V
I use Goodyear F1s, they are very good. Traction is impressive, wet weather especially.. I think the Michi PSS is a cut above in the dry, not in the wet though.. I had Falkens before, they are not in the league of the Goodyear.. Would you say the Michelin PSS compare in the wet to the Goodyears? Last time I had F1's was in late 90's and they were good then.
Nic
Michelin PSS get an A or B wet rating http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/brands/michelin/pilot-super-sport Goodyear F1 wet rating is B or C http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/brands/goodyear/eagle-asymmetric

Guest Steph23
I'm driving on Continental Sport Contact. Recommended! Truly. Durable, good grip, great performance... I can recommend them with clear conscience. Although they are a bit overpriced to my taste. But I usually use online shops, they have better prices. I use http://www.tirendo.co.uk/ and sometimes also http://www.tyres-outlet.co.uk/.
