Gaz6002
Even after JC departed, the way that programme makes media noise is formidable. You can't fault their PR team!

Frank Bullitt
What happened to Chris Harris & Sabine Schmitz? This re-boot has all the hallmarks of becoming a massive disaster, probably not helped by the old episodes of the 3 Stooges constantly being repeated on BBC 3. One might be forgiven for thinking that the BBC are trying to make as much money from the Top Gear name before they kill it off for good! JordanC
I was never a massive fan of top gear, every episode was just about driving cars i'd never afford in my lifetime
bignum
I`d kick his head in on that track lol, trying to use my imagination as to what the format of the new show is gona be, struggling.
far
who cares whether it will live up to the old top gear benchmark, its a car show, we dont have many car shows on telly. Will we all watch it, yes! Will we stop watching it purely because the presenters are not the same, hell no!
skippyboyo1
i was hoping they would bring Chris Harris in and go back to the "original" top gear with performance facts etc, wishful thinking. top gear lost its way ages ago and will continue to do so with this guy. Will we all watch it, yes! Will we stop watching it purely because the presenters are not the same, hell no! Far, have to disagree. Top Gear is anything but a car show. It is a show, they do have cars in it but far from a car show. Presenters made it work in that format. If the new guys keep the format people will stop watching soon enough. If they do something different...well we'll see. I am more curious to see what the old guys will be doing with Netflix. Loved Friends so Matt may bring something interesting. Can't say I saw that coming but hey we might be in for a treat.
jamesmark
Fifth gear used to be ok, wonder how many people watch that now? The only put off for me in Fifth Gear, well 2 actually. 1. It is on Discovery so tons of adverts, 2. Vicky Butler-Henderson is still a presenter on it. For once I can actually put up with the adverts, VBH no way. New show's on Amazon Prime, not Netflix Which is a bummer for me as I have Netflix but no reason to get Amazon really.

I am in the same position - have Netflix so must've thought of that. Will most likely get Amazon once they start the show...or I might have a ftp server somewhere and can download some files on it that might do the trick

Hobgoblin
Really can`t think of anyone more annoying than Eddie Jordan. That will be the end of my Top Gear viewing.

Al Massey
Just wait a month after its released. Get Amazon prime on a free 30 day trial. Watch top gear, if you like it keep prime. If you buy a lot of things from Amazon, prime is quite handy. Plus they do have a lot of series and films that Netflix don't.
add heywood
I'm pretty sure the new programme with JC will be one of the most pirated thing on the net anyway (not that I condone this sort of behaviour lol )
Graham1984
Personally I fell out of favour with Top Gear ages ago. Some of the episodes were alright, but they just seemed to be trying too hard to make things funny which for me had an adverse effect.
