mikeyb10supra
Thinking long term.....you would need to go a long way to find a better all round package than the supra.....what do you guys reckon a logical progression would be in terms of performance, looks, handling etc when changing cars?? I was thinking a noble m12 GTO?? any other ideas
GeordieSteve
I'm thinking Viper erm... as long as you forget the handling part
Ian C
I'm thinking Viper erm... as long as you forget the handling part You say that but one kicked arse on the handling circuit at TOTB this year... -Ian
GeordieSteve
I didn't see any of them run on there. Seem them make some great times on the 1/4 tho
mikeyb10supra
I like the sound of the noble......3.0 v6 turbo, so similar to the supra......and an 1/8 of the weight

Digsy
I like the sound of the noble......3.0 v6 turbo, so similar to the supra......and an 1/8 of the weight ...and without any of the reliability.

Alex
Think I'll be heading for a 350Z once I've bought a house.
chilli
Yeah the Ultima GTR gets my vote Build one yourself and save some money If you want a sensible car, how about a Monaro VXR? Good as a stealth car, shame about the Vauxhall part. The new M5 (hate to say it, don't really like BMWs) again as a "sensible" car. A TVR of some description? Think I'll be heading for a 350Z once I've bought a house. I'd personally consider this a step down not a step up!
Alex
I'd personally consider this a step down not a step up! It's a side step...same class, different aims. And it's newer. Safe to say I'll not being modding the engine...looks, handling and brakes are the only areas that will be touched.
Pete
Yeah the Ultima GTR gets my vote Build one yourself and save some money Not exactly an everyday car though. Maybe a kit replacement, but not a Supra replacement. I fancy building a GT40 replica next...when funds are better.

Scoboblio
Anyone noticed how all of these suggestions are massively more expensive than a reliable supra? But I think the monaro looks like a great car

D3xt3r
I would drive the Ultima GTR everyday... Why not?
Green Peace
For me it would be a second hand Corvette C6...if there were any under £30k but will have to wait about two years..for them to syphon thru.
D3xt3r
I would take an C5 z06 over a normal C6 but currently I'm drolling over the new C6 Z06...Now thats a killer of a car...
tbourner
I want something completely different next, quick nippy car like a Noble, or Aerial Atom as it'd definitely be a second car (as the supe now is). Maybe a Tiger or Cat7. I'd love a Cobra 427 but they're so damn expensive.
chilli
If you want quick and nippy, how about the lotus exige, I do quite like these, nice looking, practical and good handling to boot, holding their value well though... probably not the most cost effective car! PS I still think the 350Z is a downgrade not a sidestep, anyone else with me on this one? lol
tbourner
Yeah I can't stand the noise they make either - silly whiney horrible things!!! Mind you I can't say the Atom wouldn't be whiney with that bloody supercharger next to my ear! At least it's not a rattley 'M3' type whine though. Exige's are nice but as you say expensive still. Murcielago Roadster would be nice.
Chris Wilson
Mosler. God knows what you'd pay for a used one, hard to value, probably worth a LOT less than the owner thinks....
