nero
Titan Motorsports is now offering a direct replacement Carbon Ceramic brake package for the R35 Nissan GTR. Carbon Ceramic brakes are a popular options found on some of the best high performance sports cars and supercars in the world, so why not upgrade your GTR to these same standards. With our carbon ceramic brake upgrade, over 60lb is removed in rotational mass. As important as the 60lbs is to the gross vehicle weight, a reduction in rotational mass improves acceleration and reduce drivetrain stress. These brakes also offer improved stopping power over the stock steel rotor setup, without the increased squeal that occurs when using steel brakes and race pads. This setup works perfect for nearly any type of performance driving, from the street to the strip to the runway these brakes offer improved performance across the board. Provisions have been made for the factory parking brake to be incorporated into this upgrade, keeping your cars emergency brake functions as the OE originally intended. For the neat freaks out there, carbon ceramic brakes are known to produce significantly less brake dust than their steel counter parts keeping your wheels much cleaner in the process. Included in the kit: Front and Rear Brembo Carbon Ceramic disk with custom GTR fitment Hard Anodized Billet Hats, Front and Rear Carbon Ceramic Specific Performance Brake Pads, and Billet Hard Anodized Caliper Spacer Brackets *This kit requires the rear calipers to be clearance for installation, detailed instructions can be provided. Part Number: TMS GTR-DRV-100 Retail : $11,900.00 http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/GTR-Carbon-Brake-Kit/TMS-GTR-DRV-100__01.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/GTR-Carbon-Brake-Kit/TMS-GTR-DRV-100__06.jpg http://site.titanmotorsports.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/GTR-Carbon-Brake-Kit/TMS-GTR-DRV-100__07.jpg
Al Massey
So nothing for the Supra??
nero
Would love to make something for the Supra, but most people think that $5k is a lot in brakes for that car. Also the weight savings will not be as high on the Supra as the brakes from the OE car are small and not as heavy. So nothing for the Supra?? j_jza80
The 4 pots weigh a ton The calipers do, but the front discs are pretty light on the OEM 4 pots.
Scott
The calipers do, but the front discs are pretty light on the OEM 4 pots. The bell discs I have for my APs are way lighter than OEM. They're bigger too.
j_jza80
I meant for an OEM disc Especially considering how long they've been around. Aftermarket discs with separate bells are obviously going to be a lot lighter, but also much more expensive. I got a quote for circa £750 for a pair of replacement discs for the F50 Brembos on my single, I think OEM discs are circa £

I managed to snag a pair today for 115 from Mr T, much cheaper!
Al Massey
The only reason I asked the question is that you posted for the GTR but I doubt many members would spend £5k for them on a supra forum
Spunkmeyer
The calipers do, but the front discs are pretty light on the OEM 4 pots. I have some on my office floor - pretty good substitute for Dumbbells imo
Ric
weird... considering that it's a supra forum not a R35 one. Is this just posting for the sake of renewal complaints.

Al Massey
weird... considering that it's a supra forum not a R35 one. Is this just posting for the sake of renewal complaints. That's what I thought initially. Trying to sell a really expensive item that's not aimed for the cars that the forum is all about. But wasn't that MVP?
