zaheer0027
Hello all I removed the ecu and wanted to connect my aem v2.i connected the and the v2 was showing on my laptop as not being connected. I then removed the v2 and put the oem ecu back in to move the car but the car just swings and does not start. I removed the negative from the battery for a few minutes but that did not help either. Any ideas?
Mike2JZ
Sounds like an earth has come loose somewhere. Check the footwell you were working in, there is a 10mm bolt that holds a black/white earth, can come loose over time.
s-u-p-r-a
ive recently done this with my na-t and found that the connectors need to be a good connection otherwise it wont start but make sure that all the wires are fine as it doesnt take much to disturb them
Graham1984
Make sure the ecu is screwed back in well- it's easy to think it is and it wont do a thing.
Konrad
Make sure grey and orange connector is connected to proper plug on body side of the loom and locked tight. ECU does not need to be screwed back to work (tested many times ).
