p00t
Last couple of days in my J spec Supra, i turn right and i get an "eee eeee eee" noise and i presume its something to do with the brakes or suspension playing up (not tires on tarmac ) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve W
Probably the 'Brake Warning System' (the little metal shims on pads that scrape on the discs ! ! ) OR, slim chance of wheel bearing starting to go - but that should be less of a eeeee, eeeee, eeee more of a woob, woob, woob
p00t
plus as i'm not applying the brakes at the time, would that still be the warning system on the pads?
Chris Wilson
Originally posted by p00t plus as i'm not applying the brakes at the time, would that still be the warning system on the pads? Yes, it starts first under cornering thrust moving any free play in the bearing and bending the stub axle.
p00t
Since this is the first time i have had to change the front pads on the car, has anybody got any idea on how much it is for OEM pads on a J spec with 16" standard wheels (currently saving for some 18's! )?
