Chris Wilson Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 Miss K E Chisholm, head teacher at Skerne Park Academy, was driven to write to parents asking them to refrain from dropping children off and coming to assemblies and meetings wearing pyjamas and slippers. Are these parents late, or planning on going back to bed after dropping the kids off? As for wearing them to meetings, grief, you couldn't make it up! No doubt the Liberals will be askance. Meanwhile OFSTED show support for schools to ban the wearing of a veil, both by pupils and staff, and support "marking down" those schools and academys where it is felt it interrupts learning. Will the early mornings and afternoons see a stem change in the appearance of those getting in and out of 4 x 4's double parked on yellow lines?
