Bender
Hi for some reason i got no oil pressure light when the key is on position 2. The whole unit was fixed as it had cold solders and was tested on another supra and it works great as soon i connected to my car only had engine menagment light and low oil level light. Anybody had idea how to make it work again ??
Mike2JZ
When I unplugged my oil pressure sensor the other week to test oil pressure. I noticed that the oil pressure light on the dash did not light up when turning the key to ignition. It returned once the sensor was plugged back into the engine loom. Not sure if you have a GE or GTE, but on the GE the location for the sensor was on the passenger side of the block, located at the front under the intake manifold. Probably worth seeing if you can get your hand on the sensor plug and make sure it is sitting in their firmly.

Scott
Has it been re-checked on the working car? Just in case it blew during the transition.

Scott
Bulbs perfectly fine sensor looks quite ok That's a strange one then. The sensor shouldn't really come into it as it's a bulb check when you turn the ignition on.... not a sensor check. The car that you're trying your panel on, can you try it's panel on yours? Just to completely rule out the panel altogether.
heckler
manipulate the connector on the back of the lights - there's also the cable ribbon to take into account.
Bender
I think the best way is try a diffrent unit and see whats happend
Chris Wilson
Pull the switch connector off the oil switch and earth the terminal, the light should illuminate. If it does the switch is faulty.
