Front bumper not alligned / fitted correctly

Hi all,

Realised when changing my lights that the n/s side of the bumper under the light doesnt fit properly...

After having the light out, I had a look in and around the bumper, but all seems correct...

The pics don't make it look that bad, but its really bugging me...

Its as if the bumper is not sitting "back" in its place..

Also around the bottom of the light, where it meets the bumper there is a gap all around, again making it seem as if the bumper isn't "back" enough...

Is the any "movement" / "adjustment" when fitting the bumper ?

TIA

There are some black clips that the edge of the bumper push into under the headlight, pull the light of, and slip the bumper edge into the black clip, that will secure it. If its already in, then that bumper is deformed, ever been off the car for a while?

It looks like its sitting ontop the clip

Ah ha, should have mentioned that, I saw two black clips under the headlight, the bumper is pushed into both of these, but not all the way, I tried pushing it in more, but of course, just springs back out....

Bumper has never been off, apart from maybe when it was re sprayed a few years ago....

I haven't got any pictures, but when you take out a headlight, you can't miss them, there is 2 black clips, about 1" long, there is a lip on the bumper which kinda slides into the clips...

Anyone else know if there are any other bolts I can undo to slacken the bumper off to enable me to be able to slide the bumper into these clips properly... ????

There are 5 plastic clips under the weatherstrip on top of the bumper between the headlights which allow some adjustment. You can undo the plastic screws from them then gently pull them out and that will let you slide the middle of the bumper around a bit. Not sure how much it'll help.

Here's a pic of them: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v186/SupraBoy/DSCN1102.jpg
