Hi Scott and anyone who can help a wally I have tried to find the button to remove the head rest but I can't find it. I have a plastic bit between the headrest and seat but this seems to do nothing I have pressed head butted kicked and sworn at but the little git still won't move. please if someone can post a picture of the bit I am looking for.

Thanks a frustrated wally.

You need to push really hard in the centre of the shoulder just next to where that clip is. You should feel a tiny bit of a hollow. The button is on the outside of the seat (passenger right hand side as you face it, drivers left hand side as you face it).

I struggled with this when i changed my cloth seat covers for leather, the link on the "how to do the job" was misleading as it showed the head rest release button from the inside of the seat when it was completely stripped down, this was not correct, the button is as per the photo allready posted, but you need a good screw driver to press the button hard as you prize the headrest up, a very bad design. Herbie.
