Hello, hope you all understand my bad english but i try my best :)

I have a Eu-Spec Twinturbo Automatic Supra from 1993 und the question is:

Can i upgrade it to the Tiptronic Steerin Wheel to use it on my EU-AT Transmission?

And if that would work, what do i need for that?

Thanks :)

Yes thats right. I didnt thought its only the steering wheel but the question is if i can use my non tiptronic eu spec auto transmission or if its not working with this. and what i need for that upgrade. Has the tiptronic another at ecu or is it only a wirering that is needed from the tiptronic steering wheel to the auto transmission or the shifting gear?

IIRC the tiptronic controls are built into the cars ecu...

If you're "handy" with spanners and a soldering iron there are many different ways to achieve this.

There are after-market transmission ECU's that claim to do this for the 5-solenoid T.T. box, yet I have yet to see one fitted and working?

Another option would be to fit a Syvecs and supporting mods mapping etc, @ £4k+? (SRD can provide this service)

Alternatively, you could fit an N/A valve-body to the T.T. box and use a Soarer throttle-body, which allows you to use a Suprastick ECU which can control the 3-solenoid valve-body.

Plenty more information here. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?groupid=57

Edit: P.S. I hadn't noticed that you are not a member, you need to be a paid member to see these pages.
