Chris Wilson
Anyone any idea of the cost to ship a mid size car with no engine or gearbox from California to a UK port? Are the logistics a nightmare? I would imagine containerising is the only practical way to safely ship a car with no motive power? I shipped an F3 race car in a custom wooden crate to Canada years ago, but the buyer handled the shipping arrangements and cost. The crate was only about £250 back then, and a nice job they made of it.

Guest Streetpete
Are the logistics a nightmare? Certainly can be, especially if you deal with a company that has their head where the sun don't shine. If you're curious about a price point, check out this link and they'll give you an estimate for free. That'll give you at least a general idea of what options you have and what costs to expect. Chris Wilson
Unfortunately the car got sold locally before I could sort anything out. And now it's on the way back to Sweden. Thanks for the link.
