Supra N_A
must buy a dash cam ! what complete mugs!!! scary thing is, the amount of scoobs in there seemed like a so called tuning place....yeah hard to trust a single garage now... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3404946/Subaru-owner-s-anger-garage-staff-pothole-video.html
Ric
i caught out the specilist working on my Audi. They called me a tight cu*t who shouldn't have an expensive car because i was fitting Bosch alternative spark plugs (they advised them...) which were missing once installed paid for the OEM ones after they admitted they should have recommended them first.. Kendo11
Very well known garage in the subaru world I think, from what local owners have said. Not good!
berg
I saw a thread on MLR where the owner says exactly what was said in the video and its shocking

walkerstrider
I always leave my fuel tank empty when I drop it off! The red light seems to put them off joy riding! Muppet's should be named and shamed, maybe when they loose their customers they'll start treating customer cars with respect.
ripped_fear
Anyone seen the post they put out on their facebook. The member of staff has quit but the worst thing imo is the company is sticking to the 'he was trying to avoid the potholes' comment. The best thing they could have done would have been to just apologise and say the member of staff was a fool and is now gone.
berg
Trying to avoid them, yet you clearly see him steering into them whilst laughing And reading the what the owner has posted here clearly shows it was diliberate http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=518056
Tyson
That is just round the corner to me !! I know those lanes and they are awful, scoobs have to crawl up there not to ground out or hit a bomb hole. Some many chunks missing out of the road due to cars bottoming out !! berg
Its a shame that social media will destroy the reputation of the business which is pretty big and takes so many years to establish I feel for the owner as one mistake from a stupid employee is potentially going to cost him big time here, But i dont think they are helping themselves still trying to claim the drivers innocence Best thing they could do is apologize, own up to what the reckless employee done and try to reassure people that idiots like him no longer work their and it wont happen again...etc Just my opinion of course

Ask any scoobyowner what they think of the place. It's not one mistake by one employee.
Scott
Unfortunately I get the impression that this is typical of most places nowadays. A lot of garages won't fork out for the specialised tuners/mechanics. Every single one around my way, specialised tuners or not, has the same element of employee in their midst. I never let any of my cars out of my sight and often try to get the owner or someone who I can see knows what they are doing to work on the cars. Only 2 places I go now and one of them the guy works from home in his garage. He takes full ownership of all his work.
T2 MSW
been following it on FB. Employee has handed his notice in The owner just went straight to the papers and didn't give the garage chance to sort it out - which is unfair IMO They spend 11k on that lane only last year - for 11k I would have wanted the thing actually fixing - they wasted 11k looking at that video
st3ven1
The owner just went straight to the papers and didn't give the garage chance to sort it out - which is unfair IMO The owner of the car gave them a few days to put things right, he even refused to put the video up until they had been in touch. Couple of days later the video emerged but only after the owner of the garage had challenged the existence of the video and had made several negative comments regarding the customer. The owner of the car said his dash cam had been completely reset to factory settings when he checked it later but obviously the footage was still on the memory card. I got the feeling the garage owner thought there wasn't any footage and they car owner was trying it on. Unfortunately this and his subsequent lack of proper apology or offer to make things right means he felt the full force of a social media tidal wave. scoobyclinic.net

Supra N_A
ok even if he was "avoiding the pot holes" why take it on that road anyways it does not take a genius to figure out that road is not drive worthy never mind a customers car! also 11k on fixing that road.... I smell poo...

Say anything bad about a garage here and the mods will remove it for 'legal reasons'
