ashloys
Hey guys, I need to get another key cut for my car as I only have one, as it's a Jspec there is no factory immobiliser, so no need for an expensive key or anything to be coded AFAIK. What blank key can I buy to get cut and from where? Are there any 'smarter' looking keys I can buy to use? I tried searching a few things first and didn't find any answers. Thanks, Ashley

Mk4Gaz
I put my toad alarm fob, and key together. I hate key rings, with keys and fobs dangling around in the ignition

tintinmt
I ordered a Toyota blank on a well known auction site from a US supplier. Mr Timpson cut it for a donation to charity!!

Marcus GTE
What's involved in having them cut? Do they just copy your original? Can anywhere do that?
ashloys
What's involved in having them cut? Do they just copy your original? Can anywhere do that? I'd assume so, I just phoned my local key cutter/dry cleaner place and they said they would do it for free as they aren't supplying the key! If it's j spec it won't have a factory immobiliser etc so won't need coded.

Took mine to a local shop near me and he did it there and then off a copy of the key I already have but he charged me £5 for both
