TuneR
Hey lads, background is that i took the TB off when tiding and now it is not starting right. It might turn over right occasionally but if i slightly hold the pedal down it starts fine. I actually cleaned up the gunk on the TB and had the TPS off (not noting its position). It seems as if the TB valve is not staying open slightly to allow starting, does this seem right? It idles perfect once going. I also think the throttle cable seems to have too much slack but it was always like this and it never affected starting. Edit: nothing wrong with TPS/TB in the end, totally different starting issue related to injectors/fuel regulator. TuneR
That was a BIG mistake... Ya i realised that, as soon as i had the it off lol. Fixed the throttle cable, adjusting it to the last making it have a lot less slack. Seems to start fine on its own now with a little "weird" cough but haven't taken it on a test drive yet due to the ice.
