Underseal & rust prevention garages in London or Berkshire area?

Hi

Had the car on a ramp recently and noticed some rust patches nothing serious. I am wanting to get the car under sealed and was wondering if there's any good places with whom I can leave the Supra without worrying about damage and mileage being put on the car?

What steps are involved to under seal?

thank you

Undersealing over existing rust is utterly pointless. in fact undersealing a used car, in mid winter is utterly pointless, unless a friendly bodyshop will let you give them a lot of cash to leave it in the paint booth for a few days, with the heat on. Then you need to get it to the undersealers without it getting damp again. Also, bear in mind many people, myself included, are highly suspicious of freshly undersealed old cars.

Isn't that why many people use waxoyl type products instead of the thicker 'stonechip' ones? The newer waxoyl is supposed to displace any moisture when it is applied, and treat existing minor rust.

Saying that, I still had mine done in summer to avoid any potential complications. And I went with waxoyl, because I have seen the horrors of when moisture gets trapped under thick underseal.

Is this a fair price?

Quote

" The price for the full Waxoyl treatment would be £440 inc vat.

We prepare the vehicle prior to treatment by removing dirt and debris and removing heavy rust and ensuring the vehicle is dry.

The Waxoyl treatment covers the full underbody and chassis as well as sills, doors, bonnet and tailgate.

We would need the car for approximately 6 hours."
