Slink116
Alright folks, finally got the approval from the other half to spend some money on the car, I'll have new set of wheels in the next week or so, full respray in April, looking to dress-up the engine bay, any recommendations much appreciated. JackyBoi
Approval from the other half?! I'd spend my hard earned money on whatever I damn well pleased! My best advice for a clean look is polished parts. Cheap, wide variety and readily available. One up from this would be neochrome/titanium finish, but it's very expensive. Finally crackle black/gloss black looks good in a bay too plus it's very easy to keep clean vs polished. Or if you're straight up minted then gold plated parts can look silly good, but has to be done right

Slink116
Hi Parm, Decided not to take out both windscreens as it may damage the seals. Engine bay will stay grey, was told the grey import are worth a little bit more than others. The guy that's doing my car has been in business for 4 months and shockingly cheap compared to the quote I had from various people. I know I'm taking a risk with using this guy but if I don't give him a chance I'll never know. I will keep you posted and meet up soon once the car is done and you can judge for yourself. After all you are one of the few people that have seen my car in the flesh

I also have a stainless washer bottle cap that will fit your bay nicely.
