Eddie-S Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 It may just be me and the fact that I haven't slept for 3 days... but I do find it exceedingly annoying when bonnets are refered to as hoods and wings as fenders. If we're not careful it will become acceptable to misspell colour, refer to aluminium as aluminum and use z's instead of s's. I spent a distressing hour or so on Eurostar the other day sitting next to a silly cow who was on her phone for most of the journey who it seemed was unable to say 3 words without adding "like" arghhh! It was a 3 hour journey but after an hour I couldn't stand it anymore and requested a seat change. "I was like...." and "he was like....." in a transatlantic drawl. Stupid bitch.
