single turbo in mk3

hi all , sorry to post this but need advice and direction for my winter project this being my old 1990 mk3 with a 2jzgte twin turbo . ive decided to go single turbo and aim for around 600bhp, it has all the bpu mods and many more extras fitted and currently pushes around 400bhp. i need advice on whats the best turbo kit to fit ( thats straight forward to fit ) for the pound , ive seen a cx racing t76 kit on ebay but read many a tread within the net saying its not that strong and will suffer with lag ?

ive also considered buying the nessesary items sepratley but is there a full list of items that i would require anywhere ? any help would be very gratefull and i know its unusual for a mk3 owner to post on here but i was a mk4 owner some time ago and parted company with her as money was short at the time thanks in advance

Straight forward to fit and cheap won't come in the form of one kit I'm afraid. The cheaper the kit, the likelihood that it will fit without any modification will drop

Best bet IMO is to look for a second hand kit. That'll get you the best bang for buck along with a kit that presumably fits well since it's come off a car already.

There's plenty of threads you can search for that will detail the sort of things you'll need for the conversion but there will always be extra little bits you'll need. My rule of thumb is to price up what you think it'll cost to do the conversion and then double it. One way or another, it'll add up

Good luck :)
