Scooter
I like these Vredesteins high'ish wear rate is imo their only downside http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&typ=R-158085&partner=1&ID=froogle
Nic
FYI stock rear tyres are 255/45R17
cered
Goodyear Eagle F1s, always a solid choice. Think Autotrader rated the Dunlop Sport Maxx slightly higher but I think the gap between them was so close it was down to preference. Budget choice if you have an NA or a TT that you potter about in would be Falken 914s. Remind me of Toyo T1r Proxes but the compound is a bit harder so they wear slower at the expense of grip. Seems their fuel efficiency, wet grip and road noise rating is considerably better too

Highly recommended.

Nic
you sure Nic.... fronts are 235/45/17? I may be wrong, those are the sizes I have stored in the 'nerdish Supra info section' of my brain Just double checked, those are the sizes listed here http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/specs.htm Someone with a UK Supra owners manual may be able to confirm. martincoupe
i was under the impression it is 235/45/17 front with 8j rim and 255/40/17 rears with a 9.5j rim .

johnny g
If you can get them in the sizes you need, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, or failing that, Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

johnny g
Have you tried Michelin Pilot Sport 2's Johnny? The Cup 2's? I'm on my second set now. Love, love, love them. Such a progressive, grippy tyre. Strong side wall, so it's great.

No just the normal PS2's, we are on the lookout for some new tyres. But they dont do the sizes we are after in the Cup 2's.
johnny g
I've not tried the PS2s, but Michelin don't make a bad tyre Try the Supersports if they're available.
