Tomyspeedy
So i've managed to find a set of clear pre-facelift front indicators online! The only problem is..they don't ship to the UK I asked them for a quote to ship it to the UK and they gave me some ridiculous number and also stated that they would require a bank transfer instead of paypal, which I don't feel too comfortable with doing. Here is a link to said item: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-1994-1995-1996-TOYOTA-SUPRA-DEPO-CLEAR-FRONT-BUMPER-SIGNAL-LIGHTS-JZA80-/301823225090?fits=Model%3ASupra Made by depo, these clear lens front indicators would replace the stock orange blocks and really give me the look i'm after. Is there anywhere else online that these are sold and shipped to the UK? Would anyone be willing to receive this item for me and ship it to the uk after? (I would obviously be happy to pay the cost of the item and the cost of this shipping first)
Tsia
Nevermind, was thinking of a different company!
Nic
You could try contacting Depo, they are based in Taiwan http://www.depo.com.tw
Tomyspeedy
You could try contacting Depo, they are based in Taiwan http://www.depo.com.tw Thanks Nic, i've sent an email to the European email address, hopefully that turns up something. I've also found a company that receives items for you and charges you a shipping and handling fee to forward it to you elsewhere in the world....but their quote was pretty horrific. this certainly isn't something i'm going to give up on without a fight! a98pmalcolm
Odd how they wont send to uk but will send anywhere else.
supra900bhp
Silly thing really but we must have some trusted US members here or knows some on other supra forums that possibility for them to be sent to them in the US and then sent on over to yourself here for some beer tokens?? It's just a thought if it may work out cheaper in long run for you
Tomyspeedy
It would be awesome to be able to do that, especially with these items that really arnt that big. Does any one have any experience with the shipping costs from the US to the UK and could give a rough idea of how much a couple of indicators would cost to send? hogmaw
Can you tell me how much exactly they quoted? It's quite possible that they are not taking the piss, shipping from the US to UK has gone up a LOT in the past year or so, and even if someone else in the US was to ship on your behalf it may not be much different in price. It would also help if they could tell you the weight so you can work out how much it should be for yourself.
Tomyspeedy
Certainly, and after looking at a few other quotes... You're probably right. They quoted $95.
hogmaw
If that includes Tracking and insurance I'd go ahead and do it. You can ask them to declare a low value - they might or they might not, depending on how square they are
Dnk
Why not send Dusty an email at MVP and see if he can help and give you an idea on cost of forwarding these on perhaps
Dnk
Whifbitz sell facelift ones if that's any use but a tad pricey http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota-845.html
Tomyspeedy
I hate the look of the facelift ones... I know it's strange but I'd rather smoke the current orange ones. Somthing about the stock look but with clear indicator lenses looks soo good to me. Is dusky at mvp located out in the states? Or does he do this regularly?
