UK Brakes on today

Hi all

I've been out in the sun most of the day fitting UK brakes to my Supra. The calipers came from a shunted UK car (cheers Dom!), which I had beadblasted, then repainted and rebuilt with new seal kits. Discs and pads came new from Gooch Motors in Lowestoft. Fitted them all up and bled through with Castrol SRF brake fluid.

Even though the discs and pads aren't fully bedded in yet the difference is significant. I've even had the ABS kick in, which has never happened before in the two years I have owned the car. Also, going to stock 17 wheels has made a huge difference in the car (it came with 7.5'' rims all round  )

Roll on summer :p

AM I RIGHT in saying you need THREE THINGS for the upgrade ? ?

1) Pair of calipers - FRONT, Pair of calipers - REAR.

2) 2 front discs, 2 rear discs.

3) set of front pads, set of rear pads.

Is there anything else ?

Any 'alterations' needed ?

I don't NEED UK brakes, but, if I only have to source UK calipers

(the pads and discs are obviously no problem - it's Jap' pads &

discs that are harder to come by !)

then I'll start considering........

(what's UK TOYOTA caliper prices ? ?)

FatS.

ps. I must get a set of those INNY caps, they make the wheels

look MUCH newer than my ordinary OUTYs:innocent:

Is that your bedroom or the living room (must be the living room

or have you got a Lift ? ? :D )
