Wjswingler
Hi guys Im looking at taking my Supra off the road for a while so I can allow myself to save some money to spend on some upgrades. I have an 4 speed Auto box with flappy panel. It's called a G-Shift 2.10 from GT Technology according to the handbook. I cant seem to find out anything about it As I want to upgrade to a manual (Would it give me better performance?), I was wondering if anyone knew how much the gearbox and flappy panel was worth if I was to sell it? It's got 115,000km on the clock. Much obliged Will
j_jza80
I think some pictures of this "flappy panel" Would help Is the car a turbo?
David P
N/A auto boxes change hands for around £50. T.T. auto boxes change hands for around £200. I think that flappy paddle gizmo is no longer in production? £200? Not much money to be made from making your Supra slower. A V160/1 conversion and uprated clutch could set you back around £6,000. David P
Kickdown is king, i miss that from my mk3 but thats about all i miss. Mk IV N/A transmission is an upgrade of that Mk3 3 solenoid and line pressure cable arrangement, this control system fitted to a T.T. transmission gives it the efficient kick-down you miss.
