spoonlover
Just the start of my winter project, what you think? Edited December 15, 2015 by spoonlover (see edit history)
Mk4Gaz
Nice. I fitted a similar setup to my old mr2, but had to remove the steering lock.
spoonlover
Nice. I fitted a similar setup to my old mr2, but had to remove the steering lock. Nice. That’s the only problem with this kind of project, unless you retro fit an electric lock but that could be tricky.
Mk4Gaz
You can just about make it out in the pic below. It lit up red on ignition, and turned white when running. I toyed with building an electronic lock, using a solenoid with a bar, that would locate in the factory hole. And would work via the arm/disarm of the alarm. I never got around to finishing it, as I wasn't clever enough!

You thinking of doing push button in your Supra?

ripped_fear
That look great, well done. Seen a diy thread on the us forums. How would insurance feel about this though?

a98pmalcolm
Yer tht MR2 is loverly. I have always liked the push start Idea but then I loose my remote start, Theres a superb keyless entry push start system on the market its real nice by advanced keys Edit: I just realised they have added remote start lol Edited December 16, 2015 by a98pmalcolm (see edit history)
ashloys
Looks really good dude. Be careful though as I know it invalidates a lot of insurance policies!
listy
Nice little feature, I just never saw the point in it. Whats wrong with just using a key? It's part of the niceness of older cars for me.
