Syvecs S6

Would this be worth using on bpu supra manual engine and turbo just been rebuilt so thinking more for the safety features then any thing ?

The safety features of the Syvecs are second to non, with the right sensors the ECU will look after your engine and take measures to protect it before you even know something is wrong.

Useful features on a BPU, would be oil temp related boost (if oil is not up to temp the ecu will not let the car rev). Better fueling control. Fuel controller input controlled via the ECU.

I wouldn't be expecting to get loads more power out of it as you are still limited by the stock turbos and what boost they will handle, but with a boost controller connected to the ECU and some time spent setting it all up you could have some nice features.

As always though pick your mapper before you commit to an ECU, you have a few options round you with Whifbitz, SRD and devil or you can wait out for Ryan but you may be waiting a long time.

Syvecs S6

Used, came from Rob Mitchell's Gold Rush Supra

£1000 delivered by courier (UPS)

This is a none Canbus S6, so cannot run an IO expander to control the auto box which is why I am selling it.

Ideal for a manual car though!

Does not come with any sensors.

this has been discussed before, it can be returned to syvecs for an updated version

Even though it's not the best Syvecs unit now, it is still better than most ECU's, and perfect for a manual car.

Considering the retail on an S6 must be £2k, this is a an absolute bargain. :)

exactly my views lol...not the best 'syvecs model' but still an amazing piece of kit and its practically brand new as it was only on the gold rush supra. retail is still around £1800.
