adam1983
I have looked at the faq section which recommends a flush will take 4 litres of dexron 3 but elsewhere on the forum it states dexron 2. Which one should I use? Also could anyone also confirm if it is 4 litres required to flush the ps fluid. Wanted to make sure before putting an order in. Cheers
Swampy442
4 litres seems a lot to flush the power steering to me, but Dex 3 is what I would use.
fastcar
You need 1ltr of dexron 2 to do a flush dude:)
adam1983
Thanks for the info guys. I did think 4 litres sounded like a lot. I will be cleaning out the reservoir too whilst I'm at it and was told I need to replace a rubber o ring whilst it's off. Does anyone happen to know what the part number for this would be. It's for a tt just in case they are different [emoji3]
fastcar
Don't think there is one on the reservoir it's self! The only one I have ever had to change is the for one marked on the diagram below! It sits on top of the pump and goes to the reservoir
