Chris Wilson Posted December 8, 2015 Share Posted December 8, 2015 Recently I am seeing purchases from Ebay having a Paypal deferred payment placed on them. In other words my funding source is only debited once I have received the goods. I can only assume this is for Paypal's benefit, possibly a means of avoiding them paying credit companies a fee? Richie_k83 Posted December 8, 2015 Share Posted December 8, 2015 I have found when I have sold things on eBay, PayPal hold my money until I give the buyer a Tracking number, or when the buyer leaves feedback. Failing that it can take up to 30 days or something like that. I understand the logic behind it for new sellers etc, but i've been on there for at least 10 years if not more so i'm hardly a new user.
