Guest AlexTC
Guys just done my compression test today just to check my BG service and engine treatment.... Car running perfectly but Cylinder number 6 is only 100 psi on test and the other ones are 180-190psi... Any advice or help? Thank you
FOSTA
Check again just to make sure. Could be rings or valves not sealing 100%.
Guest AlexTC
doule checked them all.... But im thinking that i always done n6 last.... can it be just battery getting low? Oh and does throtle body supose to be open?
Mike2JZ
Throttle body is meant to be open. Do a wet compression check (google it)
HarleyFDMD
Drop a tea spoon of oil into no.6 cylinder and then do the compression test again. If your result is better than 100psi this time it's quite possible your piston rings have perished. If the result is still around 100psi then I'd be looking at valve seats
