Style
Bit concerned over how red these are. Anyone passed an MOT as mine is next week. I take it you passed your MOT with these mate? Installed mine at the weekend and they're pretty red as well. Hopefully will get away with it
heckler
Can someone do me a favour who has a multimeter? Can you see how much voltage is present at the indicator (when it's on of course) - as I have 2 solutions to resolve this
Style
I can get the voltages for you at the weekend if no one manages before that. Might even be able to do it tonight if there's a multimeter in my garage
Style
Si, I'm getting 7V across the indicators
ellis
Mine are quite red too. Do you have a fix for this Si?

heckler
yes, I have a fix, but i will need them sending back to me. It seems that some cars run at a slightly higher voltage! - that what makes them appear red, never happened to me!

I haven't fitted mine yet but is this effectively a recall to sort rather than try it and see? Cheers.

Tommyd16
Could not just find the required voltage and workout what voltage drop you need and fit the required resistor

heckler
if you can't send them back, as mentioned, a resistor (2.2 ohm, 25w) inline on the positive feed will bring the voltage down.

Sheefa
Anyone sorted the redness out yet with a resistor? If so, can someone provide a link to best one to use off eBay and does it tee into the yellow wire on LED lights, I.e indicator feed and that's it? Thanks.
