Sheefa
Oh balls. Fitted my replacement stock aerial only to get distracted and forget to fit the locking nut after installation. Turned on the ignition and the mast and teeth popped out the top and is now sitting on the floor. How the hell do I get this back in please guys! Proper plank. Thanks Greg
jot_ie
Turn on the car and then turn on the radio. Feed the toothed plastic strip back into the hole for the aerial, then turn off the radio. It will pull itself back into the hole. Hold on to the metal aerial mast so you can feed that in vertically when it comes to it. Very simple :-)

Very simple :-) Tried that mate, but need to know which was the actual teeth go round to pull it down properly. Sorted - took a bit of cleaning and wiggling but it's done. Thank you. Guest knebworth01
Hi, If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the mast from? Toyota quoted me £80 odd which seems a bit much! Thanks Paul

jot_ie
Glad you got it sorted I got mine new from Toyota. Parts seem to be cheaper here in Ireland than elsewhere. Normally it's the other way around. But because I am restoring the car after it was stolen and damaged, I get all my parts at a 20% discount from Toyota. :-) I think I paid around €75 for just the mast.
