salaar
Hey guys, Whilst driving at high speed 60-70mph (haha) the noise from the wind is very annoying. Its mainly from where the windows meet the seals. I understand its because there's a gap but can anything be done about it? Are others experiencing the same? Any advice or tips would be great thanks! SupraStar 3000
I get the same from time to time. Normally taking off the roof and putting it back on in a different order helps. Like you say, it gets annoying.
mwilkinson
Could also be that the rubber seals are getting old and are no longer forming a seal. The door glass can be adjusted to compensate for the compaction of the door rubbers.
salaar
How can the glass be adjusted?
Ric
There are 3-4 bolts in the door, which adjust various angles and how hard they press on the seals. If you just google Supra window adjustment it brings up a thread on Supraforums with all the details. You can also find more about the aerotop seals and their bolting order on my thread - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?314767-The-Mega-Aerotop-Leak-Fix-Thread-FAQ
salaar
Thanks a lot, my OEM suspension isn't very comfortable. It doesn't take bumps well and now the vibrations are so severe, the roof bolt comes out! Any tips? Should I change the suspension, any recommendations?
