johnd-mkiv
There's a lot of show cars with the name etched in white, next year I'm running r888's I'm tempted to have toyo r888 done in white what's your thoughts?? Just not sure with the wheels being chrome it will work
ripped_fear
Personally I wouldnt. Each to their own though, do it if you want too.
berg
They suit a track/race style car But i vote no on the car in the above picture I have pirelli Pzero silvers on mine and the Pzero writing on the tyres is coloured silver from the factory, hated it took me ages to rub it off and it still shows slightly
Dim Sum
The Supra is perfect the way it is

johnd-mkiv
Would a photo shop genius mind having ago? I don't think it will work with chrome of the wheels was black o would to break it up
JackyBoi
White on black will make it look a lot more noticeable, i.e. on a white car it looks a bit more subtle. But I love the look personally so I say go for it if that's what you want. What's the worst that can happen
Supraleeturbo
Do it
Dim Sum
If you are getting rid of the tyres you are using now, why not white wall name the tyres and see if you like them or not.
baldy
If you do it with thre pen and dont like it or get ribbed for it, thinners it off. Simples

Hitbox Junkie
Depend how big the wall.of the tyre is in my opinion. I like it but only on a tyre with enough wall for it to look right. - - - Updated - - - Depend how big the wall.of the tyre is in my opinion. ben_harmer32
Think it would look ok to start with until it starts to wear and you end up with letters missing or with cracks/gaps.
johnd-mkiv
im not sure Yer I don't think it sits well with the wheels if they was black it would
Dnk
Just do it and if you don't like it wipe it off
Fitz
I like the look (or idea) of colouring the lettering in white. But, havent done it on my stock 17's as I think it depends on the wheels you have.
adnanshah247
i genuinely really like it, i saw Ellis's Avatar pic were you can see a little white walling on the tyres and thought it looked awesome.
mplavery
IMO i dont think it would go with the look of your car, needs to be a real aggressive race look to get away with it. i did think to have a go on mine but i know how long it lasts lol I done my old GSXR 750, Takes longer then you think to do.... look good for about a month then it fades and its a pain in the bum to redo
Andrew K
Not a fan really having the writing white on a side wall of a tyre, supra looks great already the way it is mate
rider
White tyre names can look cool. I think they look good on one of my cars. It does require a reasonable thickness of tyre wall though, I wouldn't try it on a 40 profile tyre. abtin90
I was originally going to say no, but I think it suits the car in the photoshopped picture, so I'm voting yes.
HarleyFDMD
I'm doing it. You can get proper rubber tyre stickers made, I'm going to buy the large traditional TOYO TYRES sticker made and also my forum name made in the same font. Think the company is tyrestickers.com quite expensive at £80 but will be abit different
