mattdavies
Depends if you need the whole kit or just the IC itself - the core on it's own is relatively cheap! How much is the core ?
Tsia
How much is the core ? Can't be more than a couple of hundred quid, I can't remember the exact price to be honest - just being shocked at how cheap it was (and that the matching Mishimoto radiator cost significantly more!) Nic
The HKS Type R FMIC is one of the best I know of for the Supra, the cast end tanks are designed to maximise the flow across the whole core and help minimise the pressure drop. It's large so really needs an aftermarket front bumper with a bigger opening and proper ducting. http://mkiv.com/techarticles/hks_ic/index.html http://www.theboostlab.com/store/product_images/u/506/i-b7c6bb4f-9aab-4ba3-98a2-8ce174cd989d-800__90317_zoom.jpg
wattwatt
Again another vote for the Mishi, I love mine looks sweet sitting behind the bumper with the M logo showing plus it matched my Mishi Rad
Chris Wilson
No use having a huge front mount where the bumper aperture only feeds half the core. And the air entering the aperture needs ducting and sealing y=to the core so the air has to go THROUGH the care, given a chance it will take the easy route AROUND the core,. This is why a good side mount out performs a mediocre front mount, or even a state of the art front mount with no ducting and / or an unsuitable bumper aperture. The IC needs to exit into a low pressure region, too.

mellonman
I have a ducted HKS type S , also a slighty modified stock front bumper Good thing about the stock urethane bumper is its soft and can be cut with a good stanley blade Edited December 2, 2015 by mellonman (see edit history)
Guest mishimoto
Mishimoto FTW! Great value for money, perfect fitment everytime! Just got a Mishimoto here, really well priced, looks a great bit of kit and is apparently more than capable of managing my 600+ goal I'm awaiting delivery of a 4" Mishimoto. I hear good things about their quality. Our 4" Mishimoto Intercooler. How much to the mishimoto ones go for? I have just ordered one of their rads, wouldnt mind an intercooler to match. Another shot of a Mishimoto IC (being fitted) I just brought the Mishimoto R-Line core from Part-Box on the Friday sale. £180 for the core Again another vote for the Mishi, I love mine looks sweet sitting behind the bumper with the M logo showing plus it matched my Mishi Rad Just chiming in here to thank everyone for the kind words regarding our cooler! Glad the 4" unit is working out for you! -John
