Ls400 brake upgrade??

Hi my front caliper pistons are away and needing to refurbish them however I could upgrade to ls400 for not that much more than parts n labour. Can anyone tell me, as my search button on tapatalk isn't the best, what exactly do I need for a full replacement to the ls400. Is is only cut back on dust shield, ls400 brakes pads n discs. Small shaving off the rear of the calipers and that's it. No other parts needed. Brake lines r the same n stuff

Thanks

I've just done this.

Make sure you get the bolts from the LS400 callipers too as they will be needed (longer bolts). All that needs doing is cutting/trimming the rear dust shield as they won't fit with them on. And that's it! Brake lines are the same but I would recommend going for some braided ones. :D

I did this conversion over 4 years ago and the callipers have been brilliant.

I got the callipers from a member on here and bought brand new OEM discs, seal kits, pads and calliper mounting bolts (as the Lexus ones are needed).

I adjusted the dust cover which was no big problem and changed the brake hoses for stainless steel braided ones

I would recommend this upgrade. I have since added a brake stopper as well
