Guest knebworth01
Hi, Just thought i'd post a quick mail to 'show off' my new Supra. She's a UK car with full Toyota history and a rare combo of Black paint with Ivory Leather. She is totally stock and bloody lovely! Oh, and if anyone knows where I can get an owners manual from please let me know as this is the only thing the old couple couldn't find for me when I bought her! Thanks Paul

tim newman
i looked at this one but the door problem and paintwork required to make mint put me off, nice history with it though , i would change the rocker cover gasket too as it was leaking a fair bit! good luck

tim newman
its an auto, i took it out for a spin last week, nice car just needed too much cosmetic attention for me to do, it was really showing its age, nice people who owned it though

Or I'm blind! She doesn't need any cosmetics, except maybe one wheel refurb. The paint is perfect! Doesn't appear to have a door problem either? Are you sure its the same car, was in Essex, a long way from you in Dorset!
Marcus GTE
Congratulations on the new car and welcome to the club Looks lovely. Be careful with getting used to it as this time of year the roads aren't ideal
Guest knebworth01
Cheers guys. There's plenty of tread left in the tyres thank God! My first mission is to get the underside stripped and Dinitrol applied, there is a specialist local to me who can do it. Prevention is better than cure and all that! I'll post some before and after pics.
tim newman
yes im sure, yes drove 5 hours round trip in the hope it was original paint work but unfortunately the car had seen the drivers door painted, and window was fouling the top near the roof as you tried to shut the door and it had various other paint repairs over the years in different areas ( you can see the sandpaper marks under the paint ) and front nearside wing has some paint bubbling, minor dings and ripples etc nothing really considering the cars age but i felt it needed a full or partial respray to make mint again. so i didn't want to pay the 8k asking price, so i will carry on hunting but for a manual car. i know im fussy but i can afford to wait for a better one

You might as well buy a mint, fresh import vvti 6 speed instead.
