neilp9876
I want to build a garage and resurface the driveway but I need some ideas to keep the costs down. The driveway is 20m x 20m so at around £60/sqm it would be £24k to resurface it all. At the moment its approximately half grass / half concrete which is breaking up and i want to park on the grass. Trying to keep the cost down what would be good options - tarmac, grass reinforcement mats, concrete? The garage will be an oak framed building, probably a 3 bay with an extension on one side, can anyone recommend a company that does kits or builds garages I would appreciate the pointers. JamieP
Cheapest is gravel, anything else is going to be ££££
neilp9876
Can gravel be laid over the existing concrete or is that going to have to be dug out? What about resin bonded gravel, worth looking at?
JamieP
Yeah, tar spray the concrete and the gravel sticks to it. Resin bond was the most expensive last time I was asked to quote on it, but is the nicest looking imo.
