for sale standard engine block minus head

This block was bought off original_amo around 5 years ago its a standard block with standard internals and has just been sat in my garage under a sheet since then doing nothing.

 

There is no head included just the block.

 

It has been sat on the engine stand in the back of the garage with a sheet over it to keep dust and crap out, My plan was to rebuild this to a good spec but im pretty sure the engine i have just removed from my car only suffered from some mild small end damage so i shouldn't need this as a spare.

 

The engine I was told had only covered 40k miles so its a very low mileage block and in a good condition. Although now i would strip it all clean it all up and install new bearings etc... just because its been sat for so long.

 

I'm going to ask what I paid for it which is £600 which I don't think is a bad price considering it comes with all the internals. Pistons, rods, and crank.

 

Seeing as winter is now setting in and people want winter projects to crack on with this could be a good start.
