Crouch
I was just wondering how much a big diff costs these days as i'm having problems finding one. I've found one for sale in the U.S but i want to make sure there are no better options as it's expensive then shipping to. Are the diffs still available from Toyota even? HarleyFDMD
I'm sure Toyota would probably still have them available but I would imagine the price would be enough to knock your socks off. Allan Campbell recently went to Toyota to buy afew bits and asked if they could supply a v160, they could, at the sum of £23,000!

buster
got to love main dealer prices a few times now I have walked out of Toyota with a empty wallet and a small bag of bits to show for it
Crouch
Thats crazy money for an OE box even the mighty V160/1! I'd just go full sequential for about half that price. Does about 1.5k seem like the right going price for a B series diff these days?

I've seen second hand ones with drive shafts advertised for around £800 to £
Crouch
Are you on about new or second hand? I've seen second hand ones with drive shafts advertised for around £800 to £900 Yes that is second hand and no shafts. Thats why i asked seemed high to me but it's been a long time since i seen one for sale so thought they might have gone the way of the 6 speed box....crazy money due to high demand and low supply. Hitbox Junkie
I'm sure you can get a TRD diff for that sort of price?

That's way to much for a second hand one, I wouldn't pay that! I know when I was after one quite a few years back they never came up for sale much, I kept checking every single day and it paid off as one come up and I got it
Loonyboyo
I use to own a Vaux Cav turbo 4wd and when I had a laugh asking vauxhall for a brand new tranny box (4wd box) they wanted 10k LOL you can pick them up for £100 when they are forsale which granted isn't every day but still they come about then you get them locked to last longer. Swampy442
They're getting pretty rare these days, so prices are climbing. Used to be about 250/300 for a second hand B code diff
